Ohana By The Sea Community Cafe is nestled within the Kittery Outlets in Kittery Maine. Our cafe offers a judgement free welcoming space for all ages to hang out and create community connections. We are supportive to our neurodiverse and neurotypical friends and strongly believe these populations should coexist together in a kind and supportive way. We offer fun, sensory, art, and educational activities as well as KINDNESS — because kindness matters.
Ohana cafe proudly brews fresh Maine Coast Roaster's Coffee locally roasted in Biddeford Maine. We sell bags of coffee you can take with you to enjoy at home, treats, sensory toys & other gifts. There is a little something for everyone!

Coffee, Treats and More!
We proudly brew Maine Coast Roasters small batch, organic coffee from just up the road in Biddeford, Maine. We sell bags of coffee for you to purchase and enjoy from home, various treats from local bakers, sensory toys, and gifts!
Caregivers and Young Children
Ohana by the Sea Cafe hosts a relaxing atmosphere where caregivers can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while their young children enjoy purposeful play, sensory and art activities. A small fee may apply.
School Aged Kiddos
Afternoons, and evenings are for our school aged kiddos to create community connections. Through our friendship groups, theme nights, sensory events, or just hanging out in our cafe creating art, playing games, or enjoying FREE Pacman & Ms. Pacman video games – there are copious amounts of options for all.
Adult Activities
Adult activities are generally scheduled in the evenings. Join us for sister circle events, live music, self care/mental health awareness, sober events, art nights, and other fun.
Birthdays, Wedding/Baby Showers & Other Small Social Gatherings
We have plenty of space and would love to host your next celebration.

Our Atmosphere
Ohana by the sea community cafe is a judgement free all welcoming space to create community connections. We are committed to being focused on the importance of taking care of our mental health, sensory regulation/support, as well as inclusion and above all the importance of kindness — all in a sensory friendly space.
We provide a variety of books, and select toys for purposeful and sensory play. We also offer a FREE community library outside of our cafe and are always open to receive books in good condition.
